Founder & CEO

Craig Bondy is the Founder and CEO of Bondy Capital. He also currently serves as a Senior Advisor to GTCR, where he spent 23 years as a Managing Director and Co-Head of the Technology, Media & Telecommunications group.  During his tenure at GTCR, he held several leadership positions including Co-Chair of the Investment Committee and Managing Partner of the firm.  Craig participated in 8 funds and led over 85 platform and add-on transactions for the firm.  

Craig began his career in the investment banking department of Credit Suisse First Boston, in both Chicago and London.  He holds an MBA from Stanford University and a BBA in finance with high honors from the Business Honors Program at the University of Texas.  Craig is actively involved in education and community initiatives, serving on the Board of Communities in Schools of Chicago, a non-profit organization that connects public school children with free social, emotional, health and enrichment programs.  He also serves on the Dean’s Advisory Council of the McCombs School and member of the Development Board at the University of Texas.

Shivan Patel is a Managing Director at Bondy Capital, primarily focused on leading the firm’s Direct Investing strategy. Prior to joining Bondy Capital, he was a senior member on the private equity investment team at Vista Equity Partners. His prior experience also includes roles on the private equity investment team at Veritas Capital and the investment banking division of Moelis & Company. He holds a BS from New York University and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Richard Rincon is a Managing Director at Bondy Capital, primarily focused on leading the firm’s Fund Investing strategy. Prior to joining Bondy Capital, he helped oversee the private equity portfolio at the University of Texas/Texas A&M University endowment (UTIMCO) and was a Co-Founding Partner of Cypress Creek Partners. Earlier in his career, Richard worked on the private equity investment team at HCP & Company and the investment banking division of ABN AMRO Bank. He holds a BA from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Northwestern University.

Harrison Kim is a Director at Bondy Capital, focused on both Directing Investing and Fund Investing. Prior to joining Bondy Capital, he was previously a Senior Associate at GTCR and has also worked on the private equity investment teams at Platinum Equity and Quad-C Management. He began his career in the investment banking division of Houlihan Lokey. He holds a BS from Indiana University.

Chen Ittel is the Chief Financial Officer of Bondy Capital, focused on financial, regulatory and firm’s operations. Prior to joining Bondy Capital, she held CFO and CCO roles at both Prospect Partners and Datavest Partners, where she also served as Financial Operating Partner. Earlier in her career, Chen was a member of the private equity investment team at High Street Capital and served as Senior Manager at RSM focusing on audits for middle-market private equity firms. Chen holds both a BS and MS from the University of Central Florida and an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Hallie Caruana is the Head of Administration at Bondy Capital. She provides high-level executive support and oversees key administrative operations. Before joining Bondy Capital, she was an Executive Assistant on the administrative team at GTCR. Prior to that she worked in event management and marketing at the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Hallie holds a BS from Ohio University.
